Just like every year, retailers race to be the first to put up their decorations, and Michael Bublé can come out of his cave.
In the signage industry, it is important to be ahead of the season. Signage companies have an idea of what to expect and their printers are ready to explode with red, green and white!
BUT… what about the actual signage material?
Are you sure that sign or display stand will last the entire season?
As the most respected supplier in the signage industry, we will never leave you hanging! (Pun intended.)
Bubble guard!!
Yes, a product we are very, very proud of, and WE are the FIRST to bring it to the shores of SOUTH AFRICA.
If you haven’t heard yet, Tygan digital & signage cc have already used the revolutionary board that is bubble guard, for a campaign and not just any campaign.
Their beautifully printed signs can be found in 65 Dis-chem stores NATION WIDE!
How’s that for keeping up with the Joneses!
We had a moment to quickly chat to Rudy from Tygan Digital & signage cc.
He shared his experience using bubble guard.
Rudy mentioned that one cannot even compare bubble guard to correx. Bubble guard is stable, and gives a smooth finish. The quality is a whole other ball game.
Bubble Guard is a board on its own.
Correx is flimsy and the imprint of the lines affect the final outcome of the display.
Correx bends, and isn’t ideal for printing double side. Bubble Guard on the other hand prints perfectly double sided.
Bubble guard is also light in weight. Bubble guard is sturdy and should last the entire season!
If you still unsure stick around, we will catch up with Rudy by the end of the season to get more feedback on their experience.
They used UV ink to print the campaign, Rudy said they had no problem with the curing of the ink, printed directly onto the board and it printed smoothly. Printed directly on the board, the board doesn’t scratch or stick.
They used a black pigmented vinyl for laminating.
The converting was smooth, it cut smoothly with a righter knife, they also Di-cut the board and used a saw – like knife, as the product is plastic and cannot be cut with heat or it will melt. The 5mm cannot be cut with pressure or it will squash the honey comb bubbles.
Rudy is very impressed with the board and is willing to catch up with us next year to tell us how the product handled the season.
