Window Graphics:
Retailers have been using storefronts to creatively catch the eyes of consumers, draw them into their stores and turn them into loyal customers for decades now.
Your storefront windows are the welcome mats into your store, so you want to utilise them the best way you can. And lucky for you, we offer an array of different self adhesive vinyl
Premium 5 – 1o year adhesive vinyl, applied to the inside 0r outside of the window.
Why? Best for signage, point of sales and window displays that are run for a long period of time. Higher quality window graphics when your window is not tinted and has no obstructions that might prevent installation. If the window is tinted or obstructed, that it cannot be applied inside, you can also apply it on the outside.
Material used:
- 1490 Gloss white – 80 Mic, permanent or grey permanent backing (7 year)
- 1690 Gloss white – 65 mic Permanent, grey permanent, or grey honey comb (7 year)
- 3165G Gloss, semi – gloss, matte white or clear – 100 mic, grey permanent backing (5 year
Suitable lamination:
- 902 polymeric gloss clear PVC
- 903 polymeric Matt clear PVC
Application:
Applied to the outside of the window, so digital printed graphic can be viewed by the passerby. Viewed from the inside, you will see the backing.
Advantages:
Main reason for applying window graphic to the inside of the window, to protect the signage from vandalism and environmental damage. Viewing through the window also provides a nice gloss finish.
Outside application will last longer than the short term adhesive vinyl.
Disadvantages:
Inside, cannot be used if the windows are tinted or obstructed on the inside.
Outside, Environmental conditions and vandalisation towards the vinyl can make its life span less.
Short – Medium term 1-4 year adhesive vinyl, applied to the outside of window.
Why? Low cost, short term solution for window graphics. Perfect for promotions.
Material used:
- 1610, 1611, 1612- Gloss white, matte white, clear gloss. 100 Mic. Permanent, grey permanent or removable. (3 year)
- 1600 – Gloss white, 100 mic, permanent, grey permanent. (4 year)
- DJ series (17,16, 13) – 80 Mic. Gloss & matte white, clear, permanent, grey permanent. (2-3 year)
- DJ Series (11,12) – 100 Mic. Gloss, semi matte white, permanent, grey permanent. (2-3 year)
- Lamination (DJ15 or 14) – Clear PVC, permanent.
- 3164, 3162 – 100 mic. Gloss, matte white and clear, permanent, grey permanent and removable. (4 year)
Printing:
Printed on the front of
the vinyl in high resolution.
Application:
Applied to the outside of the window so the digitally printed graphic can be viewed from outside.
Advantages:
Low cost window graphic with very high quality digital print
Disadvantage:
Applied on the outside, risk of vandalisation and can be adversely affected by environment conditions
Digitally printed one way vision window adhesive vinyl.
Why: If you need to see out the window when the high quality graphic has been installed. suitable for office windows & vehicles
Materials used:
Perforated Valjet one way vision DJ19 (2 year) DJ 18 (3 year). Permanent.
Optional – Clear lamination. Provides protection for the digital print, and is recommended for high traffic areas and vehicles.
Advantages:
Provide a high quality graphic image on the outside of the window while retaining the ability to see out the window from inside.
Disadvantage:
Applied to the outside of the window, risk of vandalisation and affected by the environmental conditions.
If lamination not applied, there is little to no visibility through the one way vision when it is wet. At night the ambient light inside reduces the effect of the graphic and increases the vision thorough the material.
