DELIVERY – This is the one area where we can always beat our competition. (Consistent on time delivery.) With our fleet of delivery vehicles, we need to strive for prompt and accurate same day delivery (within the major centres of CPT/KZN/JHB) for all orders received between 08h00 and 13h00, and next day delivery by noon for all orders received the previous day between 13h00 and 17h00. Worst case scenario.
RELIABILITY – If we promise it. We need to do it. Our customer can rely on a consistent product quality, at a market related price, backed by excellent technical expertise.
Commencing trade in 1996, Seldenrod originally serviced the Cape Town market, however soon expanded into the other major centres of Durban and Johannesburg, becoming a national force in its market.

Mr. Frank Spolander, (Or known as Nr 1) is the founder of Seldenrod. The trading name Seldenrod was decided by using the first 3 letters of Mr. Frank Spolander’s sons. Selwyn, Denzil and Rodger. Which also brought focus to our slogan: Service. Delivery. Reliability.
The business was later owned by Mr Frank Spolander’s sons, Selwyn and Rodger (AKA “the boys of the print industry”). Mr Frank Spolander at age 84 years, still comes to “collect his pension” and tell us about the industry in his day. Keeping the Seldenrod values, and culture well alive.

From our total of 5500 sq. fully stocked warehousing facilities spread over the country, we are able to meet the demand and need of the majority of printers, within 4 hours of receiving the order.
The rest, no matter where in South Africa, will be served between 24 and 48 hours of order.
We have undergone a lot of change since then, from being an “if it doesn’t stick we don’t stock it” to actually expanding our product range to plastics, fabrics, and aluminium composite boards.
