Deon Lenders is one of our expert sales representatives at Seldenrod. Last year 2017, he achieved the highest sales, ever to be recorded at Seldenrod. Deon’s positive nature, and extensive knowledge on all products, is such an inspiration to all who work with him. Deon is at our Cape Town Branch.

1 3 words to describe your role at Seldenrod.

2 How long have you been in the print, signage industry?
I’ve been in the industry since February 1997. How longs that? (A Very long time!!! )
3 What is exciting about the industry?
The ever changing digital technology and new products that become available are quite exciting.
4 What is the most challenging about the industry?
When quoting on huge enquiries and the deadline for delivery is in a couple of weeks time and you don’t have enough stock to supply.
5 What gets you out of bed in the morning?
I have to prepare breakfast for my two children. Well, I used to prepare breakfast for both kids, however since my daughter is on a special eating plan, she prefers to prepare it herself.

Optimistic. Reliable. Outgoing.
8 Where is your favourite hang out?
Headquarters at Heritage Square, Town

An Archaeologist, Oceanographicer researching ancient Sea Vessels
11 If you could have one superpower, what will it be?
To be invisible.
12 What is your biggest achievement to date?
Raising two children who are honest, caring and well behaved.

Lamb Knuckle Curry.
14 Do you have children, and how many and age?
Yes, they are 14 and 20 years old
15 What is you favourite family tradition?
Christmas lunch with the family.
16 Where is your favourite place in the world?
The west coast of Cape Town
17 Biggest professional goal this year?
I would like to motivate my colleagues into striving for the best they can do, in the most efficient way possible.
18 Last but not least, what would your advice be to someone starting out in this industry?
Read Up as much as you can about the products first, so that you have an understanding of the various products and their purposes.
